Update:
At the current level (550 CFS) the flow is NOT GOOD... High and off color! With the melting snow, there is more water coming into the lake every day. The Tully will be stocked on March 11th with adult trout from 10" - 13". If you want to help, meet us at the Stilling Basin (Dam) at 12:30 on Thursday, March 11th. Without your help, we would NOT have the fishery that we do!!.
Fish are holding tight to the bottom but are moving to take either big (sz10-12) nymphs or super small (20-24) midge larva
Some fishing have been rising to midges on the warmer days upstream of Reabers and below the road to nowhere. Typically a dry dropper midge/midge larva will give you better success on these fish Stop by the shop and we can help you with patterns Helpful Tip: Try high stick nymphing the riffles methodically and covering every inch of water. If you are unfamiliar with this setup, email, call or stop in the shop! We are happy to help. SMALLMOUTH BASS

and Tips:
ANGLERS VISITING OUR AREA.........SPECIFICALLLY THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE JUST FISHED THE DELAWARE RIVER (OR OTHER STREAMS IN NY'S CATSKILL REGION) OR MARYLAND'S GUNPOWDER, PLEASE CLEAN YOUR BOOTS AND WADER WITH A DILUTED BLEACH SOLUTION, OR HOT WATER (OVER 140 DEGREES f) AND LAUNDRY DETERGENT--IT MUST SOAK FOR AT LEAST A HALF HOUR. DIDYMO HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED IN THESE WATERSHEDS. Or even better yet, get a second pair of boots and waders to wear only in infected waters. It's the only sure way not to spread Didymo. .............BE RESPONSIBLE-DONT SPREAD DIDYMO TO THE TULLY!! Click here to learn more about DIDYMO. This is a real threat to all of us!
