Lance Wilt is a student at Lock Haven University. After serving as an apprentice with the Spruce Creek Fly Co. in the spring of '06, he was hired as one of the lead guides for the shop and taken under the wing of the company's guide manager, Eric Stroup. Lance is another of our team that literally grew up with a fly rod in his hands. He knows more about trout and flies than most anglers twice his age. Lance grew up on Big Fishing Creek and knows that water intimately. He is our most versatile guide.

Lance guides on Big Fishing Creek, Spring Creek, Penns Creek, Spruce Creek, The Little Juniata and many other area streams. Lance is a expert at putting clients in position to catch fish. He not only knows where the fish are but is also patient teacher and coach. From selecting the right pattern to casting and presentation techniques to line control... Lance can help clients of any skill level improve and add to thier overall fly fishing experience.

Lance is one of our busiest guides so clients should book early to catch him in the peak seasons (spring, summer and fall).
