Jim grew up in the outdoors
seeking one adventure after another. He
has always been drawn to connecting with
water and the environment. An angler since
a young age, his first experience with
a fly rod was on the Frying Pan River
in Colorado and, in some ways, he hasn’t
been the same since. Jim has been fly
fishing in southeast and central Pennsylvania
for ten years or so and has been fortunate
to learn from some of the best anglers
the state has to offer. He spends countless
hours on local streams including Valley,
French, Brandywine, Pickering, Ridley,
Perkiomen and Tulpehocken Creeks where
he enjoys sharing his passion with others.
Jim also chases game fish on the Gunpowder
River in Maryland, Delaware River system
in New York, Yellowstone River system
in Montana, Lamar Valley in Wyoming and
Andros Island in the Bahamas. When Jim
isn’t fishing he’s probably
talking or at least thinking about it.
Just ask his wife Carolyn.
